Glastir new planting campaign
Farming Connect public awareness events this September
The third window for Expressions of Interest (EOI) in Glastir Woodland Creation opened on 30th of August 2016 and will close at midnight 14 October 2016.
You are invited to come along and learn about the Glastir Woodland Creation scheme and the financial support provided for new planting. There will be an opportunity to learn about:
- The types of land, soil and planting the right tree in the right place.
- Planting design for shelterbelts and establishing woodland.
- Information on how tree planting can benefit the business and generate an income stream.
- Carbon code - opportunities for additional income stream – facts and figures.
