Marine physical processes and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
The guidance is a summary of technical information contained in two evidence reports.
Its aim is to help inform the design of survey and monitoring strategies, and the application of numerical modelling, for major marine development projects including:
- Port and harbour developments
- Aggregate extraction
- Power stations (including nuclear)
- Offshore wind
- Other renewable energy developments such as tidal range, tidal stream,
- Sub-sea cables (especially where they make landfall)
