Conferences at Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre

Welcome

Coed y Brenin made its name in the 1990s as Britain's first purpose-built mountain biking centre.

There is plenty for other visitors to enjoy with walking and running trails through Coed y Brenin Forest Park as well as orienteering courses and geocaching trails.

The conference rooms are suitable for a variety of business meetings, events and activities.

They may also be hired for social events or for use by clubs and societies.

Conference room

The main conference room holds up to 80 delegates.

The conference room can be divided into two rooms to enable two smaller events to run at the same time.

Facilities in the conference room include:

  • Projector and screen
  • Multi-media touch screen
  • Flip chart

Catering

Our café offers a range of menu options and other refreshments.

You can organise and book catering in advance from the café (please note that catering is not available during the school holidays).

Alternatively, delegates may purchase their own food and refreshments from the café during your event.

Activities for delegates

Three circular walks set off from the visitor centre car park if your delegates want to stretch their legs and get some fresh air.

They may also want to go mountain biking - our trails range from easier options for beginners to tough technical routes for expert riders.

Delegates can bring their own bike or hire one from the bike shop (advance booking is essential).

They can learn or improve their off-road riding skills in the skills area or you may want to book a mountain bike instructor.

Other activities at the visitor centre include orienteering, trail running and geocaching.

Accessibility information

The visitor centre and conference room are accessible.
